Custom Tool & Die Design Services

Unlike many metal stampers, Central Ohio Metal Stamping has in-house tool and die design and manufacturing capabilities. By removing the middleman, this helps reduce your cost per part, while cutting lead time as well. Part of the ongoing growth and success of COMS stems from our ability to provide low-cost, accurate tooling for our customers stamped parts. In addition to a highly qualified and experienced staff of tool & die makers, we have invested in the equipment necessary to complete the jobs on-time and within your budget, including an Agie CNC-controlled wire EDM, high-accuracy Okamoto surface grinders, 2 Hurco machining centers, and 3D CAD design and programming software to reduce the time from print-to-part.

In addition to our fast, responsive service, you will find us to be very flexible to your
needs. We can build tooling and run your parts, build the tooling and you run it, repair or modify existing tooling, amortize the cost of tooling over a production run –whatever it takes. Tooling is a vital aspect to making good parts. Why take the risk of maybe saving money by going with a foreign supplier when you can count on COMS to handle the entire job from start to finish?
